Inspirational Art by Magwa
US born and of Spanish decent, Magwa has taken his Indian name from the Guide pictured left, who often works with him and inspires him. Magwa has had a traumatic life’s journey, facing many life challenges which would be enough to bring most men to their knees. Magwa believes it is his strong faith and awareness of spirit that has enabled him to carry on, in the face of adversity. These experiences have, however brought him a strong sense of compassion and empathy for humanity, and a desire to, help and inspire the down-trodden.
Magwa now spends much of his time channelling spirit and producing wonderfully uplifting and inspired works of art for many to enjoy.
The picture below is a large oil painting which Magwa was asked to do for a friend who wanted to know about his guide. The names Cloud Dancer and Snow Bear were given to him. (Indians are often re-named according to their personality or character).
When painting the picture below Magwa had intended to paint the Virgin Mary but as soon as the paint hit the canvas, this belly-dancer started to be revealed. The amazing thing is, that this picture measures 5ft tall by 3ft wide!
Here are some more inspired pieces, all very different in character and size. The first item is approx 12 inches square, the third item is 5 feet 3 inches tall by 2 feet wide.
Finally, this is a pastel work which Magwa did for me when I visited him recently.
He was also given the name Harry, which is my Grandfather! I didn't recognise the man in the picture so I took it home. As soon as I showed it to my wife, she said that it really looked like her Grandfather. We dug out some old photo's and sure enough, the likeness was uncanny!
Magwa sends this message to readers of ‘EssexSpiritGuide’:
“There is a sacredness in all of us. This sacred space is not a place, neither is it bound by time. Consciousness IS, no matter what other phenomena change. Within this awareness, our forefathers, our ancestors, live.
We progress spiritually as we help one-another along the path. The first ‘law’ is that of unconditional love. What follows then, is unconditional forgiveness, for without these there could be no hope, faith and charity.
Spirit Guides are there for us to draw inspiration from, while we learn our life’s lessons and undergo the ritual of suffering, in order to gain knowledge of joy.”
