Energy Balancing for the New Children
The New Children have highly sensitive energy systems which can become adversely affected by the environments that we exist in. The highly tuned energy system of the New Child picks up on the negative emotional, mental and environmental energy surrounding them and absorbs this energy like a sponge. This causes the child to become ungrounded, unhappy, depressed and or angry, all of which leads them to begin making poor choices and to self-sabotage. Life can become very difficult for both the child and the parents as the child begins to act out and express these negative and detrimental energies.
Many parents are concerned for the emotional well being of their child and seek counselling. Some symptoms of energetic imbalance can include the following :
The child may become highly anxious, worrying about many things and may develop obsessive - compulsive behaviours as a way of coping.
Some children and teens appear depressed and may even be self harming or suicidal.
Another difficulty is the antagonistic child whose anger and reaction seems vast in contrast to the situation. These children can turn the house - hold or classroom upside down with their temper tantrums and reactive, rebellious behaviours.
All of the above behaviours can be seen as symptoms of an energetic imbalance in the child due to their personal and environmental experiences and not simply as behavioural problems. The essential causes driving these ‘behaviours’ needs to be addressed if the child is to be a fully functioning and thriving member of society.
Many of the New Children need physical movement to keep their brains switched on and their ability to process quickly while multi-tasking often mistakenly earns them the label of ADD/ADHD along with a prescription for Ritalin.
Ritalin is a stimulant drug which has a sedating effect on the stressed New Child. Ritalin may give the appearance of increasing the child’s ability to sit still and pay attention. It will not however correct the chronic jumbled energy that leads to energetic patterns being created within the child, that ultimately cause long term problems for the child. These new energetic patterns may numb the child to their true potential and may make it difficult for the child to fit into our left-brain oriented world.
To raise healthy and positive children we need to help them become aware of their energy functioning and to recognize when their systems are ungrounded and disorganized. The child who is ‘spaced out’ and totally in their head instead of tuned into the information from their physical bodies will more easily pick up negative energy. If they live in this state for long periods of time they will feel emotionally numb or become highly reactive with no idea as to why their emotions are so overwhelming.
The healing methods required to help and assist these children to cope with their sensitivity need to be working with the four aspects of being: the physical body, the emotional body, the mental body and the spiritual body.
Energy clearing and balancing is a process that uses a very powerful energy to clear, repair and balance all of the energy centres in the body. The main process of healing is to clean up the energy body, the physical body and the thoughts and emotional charges that a person has to certain events, memories, people or situations. The focus is on clearing and balancing the different aspects of the individual.
It is a wonderful process that restores and aligns a person's energy field quickly, restoring balance, focus and peace within. It is deeply relaxing and can be a meditative process removing stress from the body, mind and soul. Rapid personal change can be brought about in anyone wanting to improve their lives and can work very successfully on a wide variety of issues.
It is a very gentle healing method and I have worked with new born babies, children and adults of all ages.
Many older children find it helpful to have someone to talk to that understands exactly how life has been for them and the difficulties they have that others do not comprehend or appreciate. Many adults simply have problems being ‘here’ and the energy work and subsequent counselling can benefit all who are wishing to heal themselves and transform their lives.
When the Earth is dying there shall arise a new tribe of all colours and all creeds. This tribe shall be called The Warriors of the Rainbow and it will put its faith in actions not words”.

For many ancient tribes the Rainbow holds a special significance as it is a focal point of Spiritual belief. It is the belief that the Rainbow is a sign of the beauty and grace that is the Great Spirit, our Creator, and it instils in us a sense of hope and love. If we take this belief and apply it to the Children of our Earth we recognize that these wonderful beings are a direct reflection of the beauty and grace of the Great Spirit.
These children have become known by many names, the Indigo’s, the Crystal’s and the Rainbow Children, but they are all the Children of our Earth. There is no separation, there is no difference, the only difference being that they remember, they know, they see and they understand. The children of the Earth are a great gift to humanity, they are the gift of our evolution and they bring with them a gift of choice, a choice of transition and ascension for the Earth Mother and all who dwell upon her.
For many centuries we have lived in a world of separations and fear. We have been taught to fear God, to fear our world, to fear each other and to fear ourselves. With this teaching we have been taught that we are separate, separate from God, separate from the Mother Earth, separate from each other and this has therefore created separations and limitations within ourselves. With the entry of these beautiful beings, our children, a new dimension has opened up for us all. This dimension is a place of healing, a place where we are able to release and heal the wounds and negative patterns of our past. We are able to connect with our natural emotional sensitivity and experience compassion and unconditional love.
The children have arrived to help us break old patterns of belief that have kept us chained to thoughts and beliefs of lack, fear and separation. They will teach us to connect with our ancient knowing and create new patterns and beliefs based on the ancient teachings of our world, the teachings of love, peace, joy and abundance. The children have not forgotten, they have not fallen behind the veil of forgetfulness that has cursed us all. They remember their purpose, they remember the very reason for their being and that is why many are in crisis at this time.
This crisis can take many forms, from alcohol abuse, to drug abuse, to learning disabilities, to autism. As we remember our true selves and heal ourselves of our own abuses we can teach our children a different way and show them a different path.
There have been many prophecies related to the coming of the Rainbow Warriors. Many of them saying that these Warriors will come when our Earth is dying and that the soul purpose of these Warriors will be to heal Mother Earth. One of the core beliefs in the Native American Tradition is the belief that all is borne of woman. We are all born from the sacred womb of the Great Mother, our Earth, and it is therefore the responsibility of us all to acknowledge her and to help to heal her. This belief and knowledge is one of the key factors defining the new children that are incarnating now.
Along our journey from birth we have all encountered obstacles and difficulties. The traumas and abuse we suffer as children, the lack of consciousness with which we operate, and the blindness that rules our culture, all serve to shut down our inner knowing and lead us off our basic path. Yet within us all is the urge to find healing and to become whole.
Our children come to us whole, our children come to us perfect, our children come to us to teach and to learn. What is it that we shall teach our children? Do we teach them a world of fear, a world of trauma and abuse; or do we teach them a world of love, beauty and harmony?
The children are here to break down our barriers that keep us from experiencing love, barriers that obscure the truth of our Divine Nature. They will break through the illusions that keep us from seeing clearly. They bring with them an awakened consciousness, a consciousness that is of the Heart, a consciousness that will bring understanding necessary for compassion. In this consciousness is their power and when this power is correctly directed we shall have transformation and we shall have healing.
But it is our job as the parents and caregivers of the children to teach them the correct use of power. It is the responsibility of each Human adult to reform themselves, to find healing, to transform themselves so that we are able to effectively parent and teach the children of our world. It is our responsibility to help and guide them so that they may find a path of truth and power that
will transform our world, heal our Earth and therefore create a world of balance, love, truth, harmony and joy.
The Rainbow is one of the oldest symbols and it represents a path way of truth. This is the path of the new children – a path of truth. They are a much needed hope for a world in crisis, they are the wisdom keepers and they are ourselves. Their behaviours and patterns shall reflect our own, they are mirrors of ourselves and unless we as the adults and elders of this world change and transform ourselves we will create even more trauma, abuse, fear and separation.
These new children carry a higher vibrational energy and their gift to us is in holding and sharing this higher energy. They will assist us to shift into new and higher vibrations and therefore enable us to open up to our full potential and power. Our lesson is to listen and to remember. Listen to what our children are saying to us; listen to what they are shouting at us. Remember who we truly are, remember our purpose, remember our passion, and remember ourselves.
If you watch closely you will see that these children have an innate sense of who they are, a sense of self worth, a sense of love. But our world does not welcome these traits, our world creates limitations, our world creates doubt and a lack of belief. We need to change these traits and beliefs so that we can encourage our children to believe in themselves. We need to help our children to remember and not forget who they truly are, remember that they are the children of the Great Spirit, our Creator. To remember that their true parents are the Mother Earth and the Father Sun and that we as their human parents agreed to create a human form for them to incarnate.
We need to teach our children to be responsible. We need to teach them honour and respect for their parents, both human and Divine. In order to teach these lessons, we need to learn them ourselves. We need to remember who our true parents are. We need to heal our separations so that we find understanding, acceptance and love for ourselves.
We all have the power of free choice. We choose to allow others to influence our walk, to influence our knowing, our heart, our mind and our body. But with the new children we are given an opportunity to make new choices and to make changes from a place of love rather than from fear or anger.
It is a time for us to remember our ancient culture and heritage. We must remember the ancient rituals, stories, legends and myths as it will be with this knowledge that we are able to teach our children the correct use of power, the correct use of energy. In this way we will teach our children to direct their power and energy in ways that are constructive and creative. Ways that are more aligned with the will of the Great Spirit and therefore we will once again return to a place of harmony and balance with Mother Earth and humanity.
The children are the key to our survival as a species as the Mother Earth is eternal and She shall never die, but it is the human species that is in danger of extinction. We are seeing the danger in the way Mother Earth is showing us Her power in the form of natural disasters. She is reflecting for us the damage and the danger that we are in. We are given the choice in our children, the gift of choosing the way in which we listen, learn and understand. Our children bring to us these gifts in who they are. The potential is there and it is up to us whether we choose to ignore it and continue our way or whether we stop and listen to what the children are saying, showing and doing.
I am the mother of an Indigo Child, Chloe, and a Crystal Child, Sarah. The path to parenthood has never been easy and for me it certainly is a never ending journey of discovery; emotionally, mentally, physically and Spiritually. Surprisingly, the discovery seems to have been of myself rather than of a better way of parenting. In becoming a mother I started a very profound Spiritual journey that has left nothing untouched in my life. Giving birth to Chloe introduced me to myself, to my life and opened wide my heart. Thanks to this beautiful child I am learning to understand myself better, I am discovering my life purpose and uncovering myself.
Chloe suffered from colic for the first 3 months of her life and I went slowly insane with lack of sleep and support. When Chloe was a year old I was diagnosed with Post Natal Depression and sent to a psychologist, a psychiatrist, a support group and placed on an anti-depressant. After 8 months of conventional western treatment I felt exceedingly angry, frustrated and felt no better.
A friend suggested I see an alternative healer, Celia Fenn. After three treatments with Celia, I felt almost normal again and was able to begin working out what and who I was. It was during my very first session with Celia that I was told that both myself and Chloe were Indigo Children. I had heard of the term, but knew nothing about them and she suggested that I begin finding out more as it would help me to gain a better understanding of myself and of Chloe. This was the beginning of my study into the Indigo and Crystal Children and it is a subject that I have studied and researched for many years now and it has helped to bring me a better understanding and awareness of myself and my children.
Learning that I was an Indigo Child started me on a journey of self discovery and for the first time in my life I began to gain a better understanding of myself, my emotions, my “knowing” and my gifts. I was starting to have a better sense of who I am and why I am here.
One of my biggest lessons has been the realization that in order to effectively parent my own children I needed to face my own demons, my own hurts and wounds. Many of us do not “just know” how to parent and we end up repeating patterns that have been passed from generation to generation, recreating the cycle of wounding and damage found in our families. One of the key aspects of having an Indigo or Crystal child is that they continually force you to face your own damage and wounds. They act as a mirror for our own behavioural patterns and that which we need to face within ourselves.
The old ways of parenting no longer work and certainly my children do not respond to fear based discipline. They are more likely to listen and respond if I engage with them and discipline them from a place of love rather than from a place of fear. Again I have had to look at myself and the way in which I respond to situations and circumstances. I have needed to become aware of the patterns that I have created and redefine and renegotiate my own boundaries. I have found that my children find security in the knowledge that I have of myself, my own boundaries and my own ways of relating.
In gaining understanding and knowledge of Indigo and Crystal Children I realize that many of the frustrations and problems that I experienced as a new mother would have been alleviated. In hindsight I now understand that Chloe’s colic was just a manifestation of the frustration and anger I felt in what I thought was my inadequacy at being a mother. In trying to control my baby, her sleep time, her feeding time and her play time I was causing stress and anxiety for us both. Now I know that I cannot afford to ignore the possibility that if my children are having difficulties, I might need to be the one who needs to change.
Having Sarah 3 years later I was more consciously aware of my baby’s emotional and spiritual needs as well as her physical needs. In gaining a better understanding of Crystal Children I allowed Sarah to show me her rhythm of feeding, sleeping and playing. I believe this helped Sarah to be a very relaxed, calm and peaceful baby. It was only when Sarah was about 5 or 6 months old that I realized the extent of her will and her determination, a typical trait of a Crystal Child. Over the years we have learned to work together and have gained a respect for each other that I would not have thought possible in relation to a child.
Indigo and Crystal Children have a very strong sense of identity; they instinctively know who they are, what they need and what they feel to be true. Chloe most certainly carries this definite sense of herself and yet at the same time she needs specific boundaries and explanations of why they are necessary. Unless those boundaries are put in place and strictly adhered to we end up with a household that is run by a child. Although these children are highly evolved souls and are here to teach us new ways of being, we as adults are more aware of the limitations of our existence and this we need to teach to them.
Having Chloe started me on a journey of self discovery and the journey has evolved since having Sarah. Chloe forces me to face my true self and my demons; Sarah helps me to accept, to love and to nurture myself.
I have been blessed with these two very different children both of whom have brought the most wonderful gifts of unconditional love, learning and tenderness. The way in which I parent them is very different in a lot of ways. Mainly because they are so different, but also because I have changed. I find I am more consciously aware with Sarah than I was with Chloe at the same age. With Chloe I am always learning more about myself whereas with Sarah I can put that learning into practice. Chloe seems to help me to look at my past, with Sarah I can begin to create my future.
It is essential that we assist children in retaining and deepening their Spiritual connection and thus enabling them to uncover and strengthen their innate wisdom and knowledge. This workshop supports and guides children to openly remember their purpose and encourages them to strengthen and enhance their Spiritual connection. It promises to be fun, creative and interactive and has been carefully designed to allow the child to open up in a safe and secure environment, helping them to reach their full potential.
